The Democratic Data Exchange (DDx) was founded in April 2019 with a mission to expand the Democratic and progressive data ecosystem by facilitating a real time, blind exchange of voter contact data across the Left. We believe when Democratic and progressive data ecosystems have access to the most robust pool of voter contact data possible, they can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their campaigns and organizing work, build long-term power in our communities, and win elections.
DDx works with Democratic and progressive-aligned organizations, parties, committees, Super PACs, and advocacy organizations. DDx is actively exchanging data in 46 states and features data collected from partners running voter contact programs around the ecosystem. From text messaging campaigns to socially-distanced door knocks, phone calls to vote-by-mail efforts, and voter registration drives to digital ads –– DDx’s platform allows members to access data across all modes of outreach to help tailor and target their work to have the greatest impact possible.
